Green Point is close to the coast, so wind and salt air are part of the brief. We favour corrosion-resistant fixings and weather-rated equipment, and we check outdoor installations more closely at service time.
In Green Point, many properties are apartment blocks, where intercoms, access control and communal TV have to work for every unit. We start with the building and how it is managed.

Does salt air affect CCTV and satellite equipment in Green Point?
Yes. Salt air speeds up corrosion on connectors, fixings and housings. Weather-rated equipment, sealed connections and periodic checks help it last.
Can wind move my DStv or OpenView dish in Green Point?
Strong wind can shift a dish or loosen fixings, causing pixelation or no signal. Realignment and a more secure mount usually restore the picture.
Can you install shared DStv or intercoms for an apartment block in Green Point?
Yes. Communal DStv, intercoms and access control can be planned for the whole building. We work with the body corporate or managing agent on scope and access.
Do you service Green Point?
